Sponsors and Volunteers

We'd like to thank all of those who continue to voluteer their time and resources. Here is a list of all of the parties that have participated in this project:

  • Operation Rescue (the Mennonite Community from Bonners Ferry and California) – provided labor for the concrete forms and cement installation for both homes.
  • Add Space – did the setup for the triple wide.
  • Snell Crane – participated in the triple wide move for the Christin home.
  • Pete’s Towing – moved the triple, and donated an extra truck for hauling the decking and open beam porch
  • Mutual Materials, Tumwater Division – gave a reduced rate on the cinder blocks.
  • Glacier NW – gave a reduced rate on the cement
  • The Stillaguamish Tribe donated the first double wide to Mike and Mary.
  • Westfork/Murray Pacific Corporation – providing the funding for transporting the doublewide for Mike and Mary.
  • The congregants from the Center for Spiritual Living have provided construction, electrical and other labor for the Mike and Mary house, and they are collecting and storing furniture for these families.
  • Port Blakely Companies – donated all of the gravel in the valley, including lot prep, excavation in addition to the triple wide, the moving costs and are now completely furnishing the home through a community fundraising drive.
  • The Washington Forest Protection Association (private timber landowners) are providing funding for transportation, clean-up and set up of multiple homes.
  • The leader in the valley has been Fire Chief Chip Elliott who has orchestrated the details of this effort, helped us get materials, and identify the appropriate families for these donated homes.
  • The Mormon community provided the initial relief through clean-up efforts here and for most of the other homes in the valley.
  • Genesis Global Spiritual Center
  • Overlake Christian Church, Redmond – thousands of volunteer hours to clean up home sites
  • Kelly Moore donated gallons of paint
  • A & I manufacturing and Hunter-Douglas NW provided window blinds
